Career Information

More than 40 years of experience in the field of Geotechnical Engineering involving all phases of a wide range of project types.  Range of experience encompasses a breadth of responsibilities including: field and laboratory testing; planning and performance of subsurface investigation programs; analysis of the performance of earthworks, pavements, and foundation systems; development of Geotechnical Engineering recommendations for design and construction purposes; preparation and presentation of reports; training and supervision of professional personnel; project management; resolution of construction disputes; value engineering; research in foundation and soil behavior; and expert testimony.

Currently in private practice as a Consulting Geotechnical Engineer since 1986.  Previously Project Manager with Frank H. Lehr Associates; Senior Soils Engineer with Frederic R. Harris; Soils Engineer with King and Gavaris, Consulting Engineers; Oceanographer-Soils Engineer with the U.S. Navy Oceanographic Office; and Junior Soils Engineer with Foundation Test Service, Inc.

Academic Experience

Formerly Adjunct Instructor at Union County Technical Institute and Fairleigh Dickeson University in Soil Mechanics, Foundation Analysis, and Project Specifications.
